The position includes responsibilities such as patient assessment, care planning, and monitoring quality metrics, with opportunities for advancement through the Clinical Advancement Program.

Responsibilities

• Work onsite in the Silver Spring location in the Virtual RN Hub.
• Collaborate and communicate with the Nursing Care Team to facilitate optimal care provision through digital platforms.
• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate the patient's plan of care from admission to discharge.
• Utilize clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills to support the plan of care.
• Ensure effective transitions of care across the continuum.
• Monitor quality metrics specific to the department and ensure accurate documentation in the patient record.
• Perform roles as a mentor, clinician, educator, consultant/collaborator, and navigator.

Requirements

• Baccalaureate Degree in the Science of Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum eight (8) years of experience in health condition management, including adult condition management.
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience.
