The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience, having worked in a law firm setting within the past six months. This role offers the flexibility of working from home while maintaining significant independence in managing client communications and tasks. The selected paralegal will be responsible for maintaining timely communication with clients between 9 AM and 6 PM PST & MT, ensuring a close responsiveness commitment. This position is structured as a W-2 employee role, requiring a minimum availability of 20 hours per week and a maximum of 40 hours per week, with a starting pay of $23 per hour. Responsibilities

  • Maintain timely communication with clients between 9 AM and 6 PM PST & MT.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including engagement letters and form motions.
  • Conduct document review and preparation for various legal matters.
  • Utilize cloud-based practice management software to manage cases and client information.
  • Create and manage PDFs in Adobe, including features such as bookmarks.
  • Handle client invoicing and correspondence in a professional manner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3+ years of experience working as a paralegal.
  • Proficiency in using a cloud-based practice management system, such as Clio or MyCase.
  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient with Google Suite of programs.
  • Experience with engagement letters, client invoicing, correspondence, document review, and preparation.
