About the position

The Virtual Pharmaceutical Support Specialist at Syneos Health is responsible for providing inbound customer support in an engagement center environment. This role involves answering inbound calls, managing email communications, conducting outbound follow-up calls, and maintaining system documentation. The specialist will collaborate with account managers and ensure timely responses to customer inquiries, while also identifying and escalating priority issues as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls professionally and expeditiously
  • Collaborate with the assigned account manager daily to provide various support functions
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner
  • Research required information using available resources
  • Transfer customer concerns accurately
  • Identify and escalate priority issues
  • Maintain excellent notes in appropriate systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 1+ years of previous telephone customer service experience
  • 1+ years of virtual/inside sales experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to work remotely with hardware hardwired into local home office internet

Nice-to-haves

  • Vaccine and/or buy and bill experience
  • Excellent and persuasive communication skills, both oral and written
  • Powerful customer focus; effective listener
