About the position

Amplify Tutoring is seeking remote, part-time Virtual Reading Tutors to provide small-group literacy tutoring for students in Kindergarten through Sixth Grade during the 2024-2025 School Year. The role involves delivering structured, research-based curriculum and supporting students in their reading goals while receiving ongoing coaching and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide small-group literacy tutoring for students in Kindergarten through Sixth Grade.
• Plan and deliver tutoring lessons using structured research-based curriculum.
• Participate in ongoing coaching and feedback sessions.
• Engage in professional development and learning opportunities to enhance tutoring skills.
• Maintain a consistent schedule of at least 90 minutes a day, 3 days a week.

Requirements

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent English speaker.
• Comfortable and highly skilled with technology.
• Available at least 90 minutes a day, 3 days a week (M-F) at consistent times during the school day.
• Access to a personal laptop or computer with a webcam and microphone.
