About the position

Extra Space Storage is seeking enthusiastic and ambitious individuals to join their team as Assistant Managers at various locations in the greater St. Louis, Missouri area. This role involves managing self-storage facilities, providing excellent customer service, and meeting sales goals while maintaining a positive work environment. Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Meet sales goals through unit rentals, unit insurance, and moving supplies.
  • Guide new customers through rental processes and agreements.
  • Maintain facilities - sweeping, mopping, changing light bulbs, etc.
  • Work independently on daily tasks as well as cooperate with team members.
  • May be required to run errands for the facility and travel to other store locations.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of customer-facing employment experience.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Current, valid driver's license with access to a reliable personal vehicle (except in NYC).
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, or property management.
