About the position

The Virtual Sales Representative at Boston Scientific is responsible for supporting the capital equipment business by selling service contracts for all BSC Capital Equipment. This role involves reaching out to prospects through effective communication, achieving sales goals, and collaborating with various teams to enhance customer relationships and drive sales performance.

Responsibilities

  • Identify expiring service contracts and warranties to initiate the sales renewal process.
  • Uncover and identify opportunities to target in order to increase the capture rate of the total capital equipment portfolio.
  • Generate and create quotes for service contract renewals, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with Regional Managers, Territory Managers, and National Accounts Managers to identify decision makers within prospect accounts and strategize sales approaches.
  • Ensure executed agreements are received, processed, and documented according to company policy.
  • Provide weekly updates to management on sales progress, at-risk accounts, and sales forecasts.
  • Record interactions, maintain accurate records of sales opportunities and contract records, and update the company's database of prospects (Salesforce.com).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business plus 3+ years' experience in sales or inside sales; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Proven ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining established sales quotas.
  • Strong objection handling skills.
  • Experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, and time management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Robust negotiation and closing abilities.
  • Adaptability to learn new products, programs, and processes quickly.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with both internal team members and external customers to foster collaboration, trust, and mutual respect.
  • Proactively address customer concerns or issues in a timely and effective manner, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction and retention.
  • High level of integrity and work ethic.
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
