About the position

The Virtual Server Admin role involves managing and operating a virtualized Microsoft environment, ensuring system health through daily checks, patch management, and incident resolution. The position requires coordination with various teams to maintain performance standards and adherence to change control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate a virtualized Microsoft environment.
• Perform daily system checks and respond to events in management tools.
• Conduct server patch management and notify Government representatives of performance issues.
• Conduct system audit reviews and perform maintenance functions to ensure system health.
• Coordinate with other work centers to resolve incidents related to systems and infrastructure.
• Adhere to change control standards and troubleshooting techniques.

Requirements

• Experience with Active Directory (AD), clustering, Domain Name System (DNS), and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP).
• Must possess VMware Certified Associate (VCA) certification.
• Must possess VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification within 6 months.
• Active Security Clearance (Secret, Top Secret, Top Secret/SCI).
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
