About the position

The Virtual Telemedicine Physician Assistant (PA-C) position at ExpressCARE involves providing care for minor illnesses in a fast-paced virtual environment. The role focuses on offering accessible healthcare services to patients aged 3 months and older through video visits, ensuring convenience and flexibility in scheduling. Clinicians will manage a high volume of patients while collaborating with supervising physicians and maintaining a supportive work environment to reduce burnout.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual care for minor illnesses and injuries to patients aged 3 months and older.
• Conduct video visits with patients, ensuring a high level of care and professionalism.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians and other healthcare professionals in the ExpressCARE team.
• Monitor patient volume reports to manage workload effectively and reduce burnout.
• Maintain a welcoming and HIPAA-compliant space for conducting virtual visits.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a clinician in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine, with a preference for Emergency Medicine/Urgent Care experience.
• Valid PA Physician Assistant medical and osteopathic license, or ability to obtain one.
• Valid PA Nurse Practitioner medical license, or ability to obtain one.
• Must be board certified and a graduate of an accredited education program for Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants.
• Comfortable and licensed to see patients of all ages.
• Experience in virtual care is preferred.
