About the position
The vision screener position at our fast-paced ophthalmology/optometry practice involves using an auto-refract machine and managing patient information through our practice management and EMR system. The role is part-time, requiring 25-30 hours of work per week, primarily during the day from Monday to Saturday, with some weekend availability as needed.
Responsibilities
- Use an auto-refract machine to screen patients' vision.
- Manage patient information using the practice management and EMR system.
- Utilize paper charts as a backup for patient records.
- Assist in maintaining a fast-paced workflow in the office.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License.
- Experience in typing.
