About the position

The University of Mississippi School of Law invites applications and nominations for visiting professors during the 2025-2026 academic year. Appointments will be at the rank of visiting assistant, visiting associate, or visiting full professor depending on experience. Alternatively, the University of Mississippi School of Law also invites applications and nominations for our VAP program. VAPs spend four semesters (Fall 2025 through Spring 2027) in residence at the law school, gaining both teaching experience and the opportunity to devote substantial time to research, writing, and other scholarly pursuits.
