About The Position

Requirements

• Doctorate or master's degree in the teaching discipline or a master's degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline (minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses, maintaining a normal teaching load of 4 sections (12 credit hours).
• Prepare, submit, and distribute syllabi according to College guidelines and maintain course resources on Canvas.
• Hold weekly office hours as required by the Faculty Handbook.
• Attend faculty meetings, convocations, commencement ceremonies, and assigned committee meetings.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and grades, submitting final grades timely to the Office of the Registrar.
• Conduct examinations as scheduled.
• Advise students and serve in a mentorship role as appropriate.
• Assist the department chairperson in curriculum development and assessment as directed.
• Participate in the annual evaluation process as outlined in the Faculty Handbook.
