About the position
Caring Hearts Homecare is seeking dedicated Nurses (RNs & LPNs) for Per Diem positions to provide professional nursing care to clients in their homes across various locations including Roxbury, Dorchester, Mattapan, JP, Roslindale, and Hyde Park. The role involves assessing clients' health needs, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to clients in their homes.
- Assess, evaluate, and teach clients regarding their disease processes and treatments.
- Review, implement, and follow the plan of care and perform re-evaluations of the client's care needs.
- Provide hands-on nursing care like administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Collaborate with clients' primary doctors, other providers, and caregivers in care delivery.
Requirements
- A current nursing license in Massachusetts.
- Hands-on nursing experience.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Good computer skills.
- Flexibility to travel to cases as assigned.
