About the position

The VistA Solutions Architect is responsible for analyzing IT requirements in business processes, identifying solutions, conducting risk analysis, and collaborating with IT teams. This role involves applying functional knowledge and industry expertise to develop solutions for moderate complexity problems, working independently with some guidance, and potentially mentoring junior employees.

Responsibilities

• Analyze IT requirements in business processes through requirements elicitation and solutions identification.
• Conduct risk analysis and collaborate with IT teams.
• Develop or contribute to solutions for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
• Work independently with some guidance and review or guide activities of junior employees.

Requirements

• Experience with analyzing and designing VA information systems and software, including VistA.
• Experience with stakeholder or client management.
• Experience in an Agile environment.
• Knowledge of VA software interdependencies and architecture.
• Knowledge of structured analysis and design methodologies.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements.
• HS diploma or GED.
