About the position

The VISTA Operations Analyst at SC UpLift Community Outreach plays a crucial role in enhancing organizational efficiency and effectiveness in driving affordable housing initiatives in South Carolina's low-income areas. This position focuses on aligning the organization's mission with strategic goals, improving workflows, and strengthening fundraising efforts to support community outreach and development.

Responsibilities

• Review SC UpLift's strategic plan, programs, and current workflows.
• Research and apply best practices to improve organizational alignment and goal attainment.
• Coordinate quarterly brainstorming sessions with internal teams to assess strategies and adjust tactics.
• Organize and facilitate outreach meetings to enhance goal achievement through partnerships.
• Learn and assess the various software and technologies used by SC UpLift and its partners.
• Identify gaps in current technology use and recommend solutions for greater productivity and efficiency.
• Study and ensure compliance with external regulations for funded programs.
• Develop a comprehensive checklist of important reporting deadlines for internal and external stakeholders.
• Research and identify potential funding opportunities and best practices for fundraising.
• Develop cost-effective fundraising strategies, leveraging social media and special giving days.
• Assist with SC UpLift's annual fundraiser by identifying sponsorships and cultivating donations.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Google Suite.
• Strong data analysis skills.
• Mid-level experience in project management and budgeting.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in marketing.
