About the position
The position is for a Visual Art Agent-Publicist to represent a semi-famous abstract painter. The agent will be responsible for managing all aspects of the painter's public relations and transactions, aiming to enhance the artist's visibility and sales.
Responsibilities
- Manage all public relations and promotional activities for the painter.
- Negotiate and facilitate transactions related to the artist's work.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase the artist's visibility.
- Build and maintain relationships with galleries, collectors, and art institutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a visual arts agent or publicist.
- Strong understanding of the art market and industry trends.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
