Kforce has a client that is seeking a Visual Communications Designer in Redmond, WA. As a Visual Communications Designer, you will be responsible for crafting compelling stories and communications across a broad range of media, including website design, presentations, email communications, social media, and video. You will utilize your digital illustration and graphic design skills, with a strong command of tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator, to create visually engaging content. A deep understanding of web design principles, including HTML and CSS, is essential, as is the ability to manipulate and maintain various digital communication methods such as blogs and websites. The position requires a portfolio showcasing your work, demonstrating your excellent drawing and conceptualization skills, as well as your adaptability to a diverse range of art styles. You will also need to stay updated on popular trends in communications and storytelling to effectively engage with various target audiences. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the visual communication strategies align with the overall goals of the organization and resonate with the intended audience.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Relevant experience in a visual communication role and/or a visual communication related degree.
• Digital illustration and/or graphic design skills with advanced understanding of Photoshop and/or Illustrator.
• Understanding of web design, HTML, CSS, or equivalent software.
• Ability to manipulate, polish, use, and maintain various digital communication methods such as blogs and websites.
• Proven record of crafting stories and communications in a broad range of media like website design, presentations, email communications, social media, and video.
• Familiarity with programs like PowerPoint, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, or equivalent programs, along with knowledge of current visualization techniques.
• Excellent drawing and conceptualization skills with the ability to adapt to a wide range of art styles.
• A portfolio is required upon submission.
