About the position

V3 Companies is expanding its Marketing Team and is seeking a Visual Communications Specialist for our Woodridge office. In this role, you will act as a key partner in promoting V3's brand and activating V3's voice in our overall messaging through graphics and other visual branding assets. Your primary responsibility will be to help tell V3's story in a compelling way and lead the implementation of V3's brand elevation through visual assets. You will apply your strong creative design ability, demonstrate your understanding of marketing best practices, and communicate effectively with peers, colleagues, and leadership. Responsibilities

• Develop visually compelling graphics to enhance brand awareness across various channels, including advertising, collateral, presentations, and signage.
• Work with the V3 Marketing team to create visual assets, such as infographics that align with V3's messaging for proposals, short-list interviews, and client presentations.
• Maintain and distribute companywide collateral materials.
• Develop and maintain easy-to-use templates to support the brand such as letters, reports, presentations, manuals, etc.
• Organize and manage a digital asset system that is easily accessible to the marketing team.
• Stay up to date on digital design trends and best practices in graphics and visual communications.
• Assist with additional tasks to support V3's communications program.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in visual communications or graphic design.
• Bachelor's degree in visual communications, graphic design, or an equivalent field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
• Proven experience creating graphics and other visual assets to support storytelling and brand awareness.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong project management skills, ability to multitask and juggle deadlines.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
• Accepts constructive feedback and adapts designs accordingly.
