About the position

The Visual Designer will play a crucial role in enhancing user experience through collaboration with various project teams, including interaction designers and usability engineers. This position focuses on creating visually appealing and user-friendly designs that align with company brand standards while ensuring usability and effective navigation across digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with UX project teams, including interaction designers, visual designers, editors, and usability engineers.
• Interpret visual style guides and create assets that are consistent with company brand standards.
• Design for usability, including navigation design, online content organization, and information architecture/taxonomy creation.
• Optimize search functionality and enhance user experience through effective design.
• Maintain strong attention to detail in creating design deliverables and assets.
• Utilize excellent interpersonal communication skills to resolve issues and collaborate effectively.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite 6 (Photoshop & Illustrator).
• Understanding of web usability principles, with a professional designation being a plus.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in mobile web and downloadable app design.
