About the position

The position involves providing recruiting assistance for direct hires in a leading information technology consulting firm. The role focuses on UX design, requiring collaboration with various team members to create user-centered design deliverables that align with company brand standards and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interaction designers, visual designers, editors, and usability engineers on UX projects.
• Interpret visual style guides and create design assets consistent with company brand standards.
• Engage in usability design, navigation design, and online content organization.
• Create information architecture and taxonomy, and optimize search functionality.
• Ensure adherence to web usability principles and best practices in design deliverables.

Requirements

• 6 years of experience in a UX project team environment.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design models and processes.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite 6, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Experience in usability design and navigation design.
• Strong attention to detail in creating design deliverables and assets.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Mobile web and downloadable app design experience.
• Professional designation in usability design or related field.
