Emprise Corporation is seeking talented Visual Designers to join our in-house Visual Communication Design team. The role involves working both independently and collaboratively to design visual solutions that support the engineering and software departments in creating enterprise maintenance management and condition monitoring products. The Visual Designer will be responsible for a variety of tasks that include training support design, UI/UX design, and brand identity design. In the training support design aspect, the designer will collaborate with engineering team members to create and develop both print and digital quick reference guides and user manuals for software products, adhering to software release schedules. The designer will utilize Articulate360 to design and develop interactive training materials based on requirements defined by engineering and customers. Additionally, the designer will be tasked with designing, developing, and maintaining a WordPress-based course registration website, ensuring it aligns with customer and team feedback. The role also requires the application of design principles to create intuitive and effective software documentation for web delivery, using tools like Adobe RoboHelp and version control systems such as GitHub and SourceTree. In terms of UI/UX design, the designer will conduct research in collaboration with engineering software requirement teams to gather customer data and insights that inform user experience patterns and decisions. Responsibilities include creating wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes of user interfaces for applications, documenting interfaces and design patterns, and providing design specifications for software development teams. The designer will also perform quality assurance testing across multiple web browsers and operating systems to ensure a seamless user experience. The brand identity design responsibilities include maintaining the corporate website in accordance with branding guidelines, managing blog and news articles on the corporate website, and creating print-ready production files. The designer will also support the creation and execution of branded documents and presentation materials, as well as manage existing social media platforms by creating scheduled post content.
