About the position

We are seeking a Visual Designer to join our team based in Milford, Connecticut. This role involves creating and executing designs for various national-level projects, managing individual projects, and producing high-quality visual designs. It is a contract to hire employment opportunity that requires hands-on work and a focus on delivering exceptional design outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop visual designs from concept to execution.
• Manage individual projects, ensuring timely completion and high quality.
• Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and AutoCAD to create designs.
• Work on larger format designs, focusing on experiential design outcomes.
• Maintain a high level of design capability to meet the needs of well-known clients.
• Handle one project at a time, ensuring focus and dedication to each task.
• Play a role in larger projects that require an all-hands-on deck approach.
• Create art concepts and follow them all the way through to completion.
• Work on brand awareness and digital advertisements.
• Utilize drawing skills to create visually appealing designs.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop
• Experience with AutoCAD software
• Ability to create engaging advertisements for various platforms
• Familiarity with AP Style writing
• Proven experience in increasing brand awareness
• Strong digital design skills
• Excellent drawing abilities
• Ability to collaborate with team members and work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Detail-oriented with an eye for aesthetics and visual details
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Visual Arts or relevant field is a plus
