About the position

SonarSource is seeking a talented Visual Designer to join our Marketing Team in Austin, TX. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our corporate branding and supporting our marketing efforts by creating sharp, engaging digital and print assets that effectively communicate the value of Sonar's solutions to developers. As a Visual Designer, you will be responsible for creating a variety of assets that will be used both internally and externally. This includes developing engaging materials for digital marketing campaigns, collaborating with our Events Marketing Manager to design branded event collateral, and supporting the creation of branded imagery for our web properties. You will also work closely with content creators to design visuals that accompany blog and social media posts, and templatize commonly used brand assets for internal use. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to design promotional items such as t-shirts, hoodies, hats, and stickers, as we are passionate about our swag! We are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a design capacity, preferably at a creative agency or within an in-house marketing team. You should be fluent in Adobe Creative Cloud programs, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, AfterEffects, Premier, and Figma. A strong understanding of different print processes, excellent communication skills, and a positive, can-do attitude are essential. You will need to be adept at translating unique messages into visual media across various platforms and capable of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously. Responsibilities

• Create assets to be used both internally and externally, contributing to marketing efforts and the growth of the Sonar brand.
• Develop engaging assets for digital marketing campaigns to support the demand generation squad.
• Work closely with our Events Marketing Manager to design branded event collateral such as booth designs and promotional items.
• Support in the creation of branded imagery and iconography for Sonar's web properties.
• Work with content creators to design supporting visuals to accompany blog and social media posts.
• Templatize commonly used brand assets for internal team use.
• Design branded promo items such as t-shirts, hoodies, hats, stickers, and more.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience working in a design capacity at a creative agency or working with an in-house marketing team.
• Fluency in Adobe Creative Cloud programs, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, AfterEffects, Premier and Figma.
• Understanding of different print processes.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• An open-minded and positive can-do attitude.
• Adept at translating unique messages into visual media on a variety of platforms.
• Capable of managing multiple complex projects - scopes and timelines.
