About the position

The Visual Designer position at Aquent involves creating UI copy for retail ad experiences and collaborating with various teams to ensure content consistency and transparency. The role requires a strong understanding of user experience principles and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Responsibilities

• Write UI copy for retail ad experiences
• Create copy and develop tests in partnership with research, design, and product management team
• Work with content at many levels (style guides, templates, analytics)
• Partner with Product, Program Management, UX, UXR, engineering, support operations, legal, PR, and other editorial groups to ensure content consistency and transparency.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in English, Communications, or related field (Human Computer Interaction, aka HCI or Psychology)
• 1-3 years of experience in writing and designing product experiences as part of a UX team
• Experience working on Mobile and Desktop UI
• Experience with UX functions
• Experience in online help, online content production, editing, UX writing, content strategy and marketing communications for consumer-focused communications
• Portfolio of demonstrated product and writing work
• Strong verbal and written communications, including developing presentations and deliverables

Nice-to-haves

• Advertiser product/B2B experience
• Worked in Retail/Shopping space before
• Familiarity and experience working in the Ads space
• Experience with writing content for additional modes of communication such as direct mail, phone scripts and printed user guides
• Expert command of writing benefit-oriented, consumer-focused copy
• Ability to work globally and cross-functionally in an ambiguous environment
• Excellent leadership, oral and written communication, project management and analytical skills
