About the position

The Visual Designer at IBC Bank is responsible for creating and developing professional multimedia products that enhance the bank's communication objectives. This role involves designing graphics for various platforms, including digital ads, social media, and print materials, while ensuring brand consistency and quality. The designer will collaborate with team members and external vendors to produce high-quality visual content that captivates audiences and supports marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and produce graphics and materials that support internal and external IBC business and communication objectives.
• Work closely with the lead graphic designer and digital media specialist to brainstorm multi-faceted campaign ideas.
• Create digital ads, social media graphics, short videos, email newsletters, and print collateral such as brochures and banners.
• Maintain communication with third-party vendors for production and publishing.
• Edit and enhance photography for print and online use.
• Disseminate mass emails utilizing targeted distribution lists through Constant Contact.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Analyst to target specific customers with ads using the Q2 Smart Online Banking System.
• Review materials to ensure they follow brand standards and uphold high quality standards.
• Understand compliance requirements and disclosures for banks.

Requirements

• High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects, etc.)
• At least 1 year of design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or equivalent proven work experience.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in English grammar and writing; Spanish is a plus.

• An outstanding portfolio demonstrating mastery in creating effective and unique designs.
