About the position

The Visual Designer position at Tek-Pal is focused on establishing a cohesive and professional branding identity for the IT Project Management Office (PMO). This role involves developing a consistent visual identity across various communication channels and supporting change management strategies through effective visual aids. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to ensure that visual designs meet organizational branding guidelines and project needs.

Responsibilities

• Create a visually appealing and consistent branding identity that aligns with the team's values and organizational branding guidelines.
• Develop branding elements such as color schemes, typography, logo usage, and graphical motifs for integration across all PMO materials.
• Design and develop customizable presentation templates to ensure consistency and professionalism in project updates and communications.
• Create visually engaging templates for stakeholder reports that streamline the communication of project progress.
• Design user-friendly meeting minutes templates and new project intake forms that align with the branding identity.
• Create visual aids that support change management strategies, including infographics and process diagrams to aid in understanding and adoption of new processes.
• Develop email banners and other materials that reinforce the team's brand identity in all interactions.
• Work closely with project managers, executives, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback, ensuring that visual designs meet the needs of all parties.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback to continuously improve the effectiveness and appeal of the PMO's visual materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• Proven experience in visual design or branding, preferably within a corporate or IT environment.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of branding principles and the ability to create cohesive visual identities.
• Experience in developing visual aids for change management strategies is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
