About the position

The Visual/Graphic Designer will work closely with the Director of Marketing to enhance the Stonhard brand through effective visual storytelling. This role encompasses the entire design process, from concept to completion, for a variety of marketing materials and digital content, ensuring consistent messaging across global platforms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to support the Stonhard brand and visually communicate its story.
• Design and produce marketing materials including brochures, sales literature, product data sheets, business cards, website graphics, signs, posters, packaging, tradeshow banners, presentations, and internal mailings.
• Purchase printing services, obtain bids, manage pricing, and liaise with the Mailroom for receiving and inventory management.
• Upload and manage intranet content and graphics, assisting other departments in managing their areas independently.
• Edit and catalog photos, managing the photo library effectively.
• Work with the content team to provide graphics for websites, intranet, and information displays.
• Review and recommend promotional items and branded merchandise, providing necessary artwork and designs to support the Mailroom's online stores.
• Participate as a member of the global marketing team to ensure consistent messaging worldwide.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of graphic design experience or 10+ years of equivalent experience in a lead graphic design role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Canva.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design.
• Ability to support the content team with design projects for websites and social media.
• Creative, resourceful, and collaborative mindset.
• Detail-oriented with effective organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

• BS, BA, or FA in Graphic Design, Communications Design, or a closely related field.
