About the position

The Visual/Graphic Designer will work closely with the Director of Marketing to enhance the Stonhard brand through visual storytelling. This role encompasses the entire design process, from concept to completion, for various marketing materials and digital content, ensuring consistent messaging across global platforms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to support brand initiatives and visual storytelling.
• Design and produce marketing materials including brochures, sales literature, product data sheets, business cards, website graphics, signs, posters, packaging, and tradeshow banners.
• Manage the printing process, including obtaining bids, managing pricing, and liaising with the Mailroom for inventory.
• Upload and manage intranet content and graphics, assisting other departments as needed.
• Edit and catalog photos, managing the photo library effectively.
• Work with the content team to create graphics for websites and information displays.
• Review and recommend promotional items and branded materials, providing necessary artwork and designs.
• Support the global marketing team to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of graphic design experience or 10+ years in a lead graphic design role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Canva; experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
• Creative, resourceful, and collaborative with strong organizational skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communications Design, or a closely related field.
