Responsibilities

• Analyze digital design data to create quality and accurate Visual Work Instructions (VWIs).
• Interpret and add design elements for VWIs to meet manufacturing and installation requirements.
• Utilize computer-aided design equipment and graphic tools such as Teamcenter, NX, SAP, NGP, and TDP.
• Incorporate required changes as applicable.
• Advise management on the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems.
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals.

Requirements

• Associates Degree or other 2-year technical degree in a related discipline.
• 1 year of related experience in Visual Instruction Design.
• 3D work experience with software such as NX, Inventor, Shipworks, or Autocad.
• Piping design experience and shipbuilding knowledge.
