About the position

The Visual Instruction Designer role at Acro Corp involves creating and enhancing Visual Work Instructions (VWIs) to support manufacturing and installation processes. This position requires a blend of design interpretation and technical skills to ensure that the instructions meet the necessary requirements for production efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities

• Analyze digital design data and utilize these products in conjunction with build plans to create quality and accurate Visual Work Instructions (VWIs).
• Interpret and add design elements and portions of systems for VWIs to meet manufacturing and installation requirements.
• Utilize computer-aided design equipment and/or graphic tools such as Teamcenter, NX, SAP, NGP, and TDP.
• Incorporate required changes as applicable.
• Advise management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems.
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or other 2-year technical degree in a related discipline.
• Mid-level experience with AutoCAD and other 3D design software such as NX, Inventor, and Shipworks.
• Piping design experience and shipbuilding knowledge.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Teamcenter, SAP, and NGP.
