About the position

At Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems, we are dedicated to driving innovation and maintaining the highest standards of business ethics. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact while working in an environment that values integrity and excellence. The primary responsibilities of the ideal candidate will involve capturing and editing still photographs and video content to support various Lockheed Martin products and sites. This includes photography assignments such as portraits, program milestone events, site events, award ceremonies, and other activities. Additionally, the videography duties will encompass product documentation, event coverage, training videos, interviews, and social media content, as well as moderately complex storytelling projects. In this role, you will be responsible for pre-production tasks, including determining the concept, theme, and budget based on client interactions. A detailed working knowledge of non-linear video editing equipment and experience in a file-based video environment is essential. You should also possess a general understanding of camera applications, location lighting, and related audio equipment. Experience with live webcast video camera operation is a plus, as is familiarity with either Nikon or Canon high megapixel professional still photographic equipment. Staying updated on emerging trends in video/photo equipment, editing software, and hardware, including lighting and grip equipment, is crucial. The position requires frequent domestic travel and overtime work, and the candidate must demonstrate creativity, effective communication skills (both written and oral), and the ability to work efficiently with team members and customers. Selected applicants will undergo a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
