About the position

Winston Retail is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Visual Merchandiser to join our dynamic team. In this part-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring that retail displays are visually appealing and effectively promote various brands across different store types. Your expertise in visual merchandising will enhance the customer shopping experience and contribute to the overall success of the retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies that align with company standards
• Execute planograms to optimize product placement and maximize sales with apparel and hardline merchandise
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management regarding merchandising needs
• Work independently and as part of a team in different store settings
• Submit store visit reports, including taking before and after photos and writing feedback, using the Winston App on a smart device
• Download and install an app on your smartphone and upload reports via the Winston app
• Lift up to 25 pounds and stand on feet the entire shift

Requirements

• Proven experience in apparel merchandising or a related field is preferred
• Experience working with mannequins (assembling, updating, and styling)
• Familiarity with planograms and visual directives is essential
• A keen eye for detail and creativity in presenting apparel displays
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
