About the position

The Visual Merchandising Designer will lead and manage design projects for a fashion brand, focusing on creating engaging visual presentations for window displays and in-store merchandising. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and oversight of a design team to ensure alignment with brand standards and market needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage design projects from start to finish, including creating renderings, developing assets, and adjusting product images for window displays, mannequins, props, fixtures, and marketing materials.
• Lead and oversee a team in the development, design, and execution of window and in-store visual presentations.
• Adapt and interpret GHQ guidelines to fit the needs of the US market.
• Ensure all communications are clear, concise, and aligned with brand standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate window displays, visual merchandising, store design, and supporting materials.
• Manage the VMD budget, including POs, COUPA, and other financial processes.
• Participate in frequent in-person collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Photoshop and Illustrator), Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel); basic knowledge of 3D modeling tools (e.g., Google SketchUp, Dimension).
• Strong ability to accept and implement constructive feedback into design work.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to articulate design decisions both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines within set time frames and budget constraints.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable with a strong team-oriented mindset.
• Quick to learn new tools and processes, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
