About the position

The Visual/Motion Designer will join the UX team to contribute to the development of a new AI-powered video creation app. This role focuses on empowering users to become skilled visual storytellers through the creation and editing of video templates, animations, and other design elements. The designer will collaborate with various teams to ensure high-quality output and support marketing and help center content as needed.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit video templates for use by our users and generative models
• Create comms design, animation specs, iconography and illustrations when needed
• Support marketing and help center content when needed
• Sync with the team for project needs and priorities
• Create and edit video templates based on user feedback
• Support the team with any urgent needs related to templates

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in visual/motion design and video creation
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in visual and motion design, video editing, and post-production
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Figma, Photoshop, and other video editing tools
• Portfolio demonstrating command of visual/motion design, typography, color, prototype, and visual storytelling
