About the position

The Intern position at Cencora is designed for undergraduate students who are eager to gain hands-on experience in developing, testing, and deploying Visualization/SCADA solutions. This role is crucial in supporting the company's mission to create healthier futures by assisting with various technical tasks under the guidance of senior management. The intern will engage in practical projects that enhance their understanding of SCADA systems and contribute to the overall business requirements of Cencora.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing, testing, and deploying Visualization/SCADA solutions.
• Help in the development of displays and programming of SCADA clients/servers.
• Create and modify documentation of new and existing infrastructure.
• Work with PLC Function Block and other programming techniques to support process control systems.
• Keep management updated with accurate project and task information.
• Participate in requirements, design, documentation, and evaluations.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program at an accredited institution.
• Must be a junior or a senior.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Must not require sponsorship to work in the US now or in the future.

Nice-to-haves

• Understanding of SCADA concepts and functions.
• Experience with User Interface design and optimization.
• Knowledge of Siemens or Allen Bradley PLC interfaces and networking.
• Experience with HTML, SVG files, SQL, Java, or Python.
