About the position

The Intern position at Cencora is designed for undergraduate students who are eager to gain hands-on experience in developing, testing, and deploying Visualization/SCADA solutions. Under the guidance of a Sr. Manager or Director, the intern will assist in various tasks related to SCADA systems, including programming, documentation, and project management, contributing to the company's mission of creating healthier futures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing, testing, and deploying Visualization/SCADA solutions.
• Help in the development of displays and programming of SCADA clients/servers.
• Create and modify documentation of new and existing infrastructure.
• Work with PLC Function Block and other programming techniques to modify process control systems.
• Assist in creating and modifying documentation of the SCADA solution and training guides.
• Keep management updated with accurate project and task information.
• Participate in requirements, design, documentation, and evaluations.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program at an accredited institution.
• Must be a junior or a senior.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Must not require sponsorship to work in the US now or in the future.

Nice-to-haves

• Understanding of SCADA concepts and functions.
• Experience with User Interface design and optimization.
• Knowledge of Siemens or Allen Bradley PLC interfaces and networking.
• Experience with HTML, SVG files, SQL, Java, or Python.
