About the position
The Vitamin Clerk at Sprouts Farmers Market is responsible for providing exceptional customer service in the Vitamin Department, helping customers discover the benefits of supplements and vitamins. This role involves creating and maintaining product displays, pricing merchandise, and educating customers about health products in a fast-paced and friendly environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable service in the Vitamin Department.
- Create and maintain department displays to attract customers.
- Accurately price all merchandise by stamping, marking, or placing shelf tags and signs throughout the department.
- Use knowledge of supplements and vitamins to answer customer questions and provide education.
- Familiarize oneself with upcoming events and seminars to inform customers.
- Direct customers to product locations throughout the store.
Requirements
- Be at least 16 years of age.
- Dependable and reliable with the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Maintain a high-level code of ethics within Sprouts' culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Possess a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Ability to take direction and work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to gain education on new products and alternative health.
- Ability to perform repetitious activities, multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
