About the position

The Vitamin Clerk at Sprouts Farmers Market is responsible for providing exceptional customer service in the Vitamin Department. This role involves educating customers about supplements and vitamins, maintaining department displays, and ensuring customer satisfaction through friendly and knowledgeable service. The position requires a passion for health and wellness, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable service in the Vitamin Department.
• Create and maintain department displays to enhance customer experience.
• Accurately price merchandise and ensure proper labeling throughout the department.
• Educate customers about supplements and vitamins within established guidelines.
• Assist customers in locating products and provide information on weekly ad items.
• Stay informed about events and seminars related to health and wellness.
• Adhere to safety, health, OSHA, and Weights and Measures regulations.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Dependable and reliable with the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain a high level of respect for others and adhere to Sprouts' culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Possess a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
• Ability to take direction and work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn about new products and alternative health options.
• Ability to perform repetitive activities and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb throughout the workday, and lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
