About the position

St. Luke's University Health Network (SLUHN) is seeking board-certified or board-eligible subspecialty Ophthalmologists fellowship-trained in Vitreoretinal Surgery and Disease. The successful candidates will join a dedicated community of faculty, colleagues, and students at the Temple/St. Luke's School of Medicine, engaging in clinical care, teaching, supervision of trainees, and scholarly activities. They may also play a key role in developing the Division of Vitreoretinal Surgery and Disease within the new Department of Ophthalmology at SLUHN, contributing to patient care, innovative research, and medical education.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical care in the field of Vitreoretinal Surgery and Disease.
  • Teach and supervise trainees and medical students.
  • Engage in scholarly activities and research.
  • Collaborate with the Network and Chair of Ophthalmology on departmental development.
  • Embrace and promote the mission of St. Luke's in patient care and education.

Requirements

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Ophthalmology.
  • Fellowship training in Vitreoretinal Surgery and Disease.
  • Strong commitment to teaching and mentorship.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and staff.
