About The Position
This advertisement is for a Vocational Instructor, Auto Body and Fender Repair position located at the California Correctional Institution in Tehachapi, CA. Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor of Vocational Instruction (SVI), the Vocational Instructor (VI) is responsible for instructing, counseling, evaluating, and presenting individual education programs to assigned incarcerated persons. The instructor is responsible for supervising projects designed to apply trade knowledge taught in the program. The VI must work effectively with other instructors and correctional staff members; develop curriculum. The VI will continue educational development per conditions of employment and to fulfill credential requirements.
