About the position

The Voice Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining voice communication systems within the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of voice technologies, particularly those related to Cisco systems. The engineer will work closely with other IT professionals to ensure that voice services are integrated seamlessly with existing network infrastructure. The position involves troubleshooting and resolving issues related to voice quality, connectivity, and system performance. Additionally, the engineer will be tasked with optimizing voice network performance and ensuring that all systems are compliant with industry standards and best practices. In this role, the Voice Network Engineer will also be involved in planning and executing upgrades to voice systems, including the Cisco Call Manager and Cisco Unity Connect. The engineer will need to stay updated on the latest advancements in voice technology and recommend improvements to enhance the overall communication experience for users. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to ensure that voice solutions meet the needs of the business and its employees. The position is hybrid, allowing for a combination of remote work and in-office presence, specifically working from home on Mondays and Fridays, and in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This flexibility is designed to promote a healthy work-life balance while ensuring that the engineer is available for critical in-person meetings and collaborative efforts with the team.
