In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) systems, ensuring seamless communication capabilities for our users. Your expertise will be crucial in overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of VOIP infrastructure, which is essential for maintaining high-quality, reliable, and secure voice communication systems within the organization. As a Senior VOIP System Administrator, you will configure and troubleshoot VOIP systems, including call managers and gateways, to resolve technical issues and enhance system functionality. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate VOIP solutions with existing systems and applications, ensuring that communication across the organization is seamless. Additionally, you will implement robust security measures to safeguard VOIP systems, conducting regular audits and assessments to identify and address potential vulnerabilities. Your role will also involve leading the planning and execution of VOIP system upgrades, patches, and migrations, while staying current with industry best practices and emerging technologies. You will provide expert-level support for VOIP-related incidents, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and disruptions.
