About the position

The Volunteer Athletic Coach for Middle School Cheer is a seasonal position responsible for coaching and mentoring middle school cheerleaders. The role requires a commitment to fostering a positive and encouraging environment for student-athletes while ensuring adherence to school policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor middle school cheerleaders during practices and events.
• Develop and implement cheerleading routines and choreography.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during practices and events.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration.
• Attend all scheduled practices and events as required.

Requirements

• Must hold a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must satisfy employment requirements including a background check and drug testing.
• Ample experience in cheerleading or coaching is required.
