About the position

The Volunteer Onboarding and Operations Specialist at Lakewood Church plays a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding process for volunteers. This position involves maintaining communication between the Volunteer Onboarding team and various ministries, managing the volunteer database, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies. The specialist will also analyze data to improve onboarding processes and support the church's mission of community service and spiritual leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the volunteer database to ensure it accurately reflects the status of volunteers.
  • Track volunteer training and paperwork to ensure compliance.
  • Regularly review and clean up the database to eliminate duplicates and outdated information.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the organization's policies and procedures related to volunteer onboarding and operations.
  • Collaborate with the Volunteer Onboarding Experience Manager and ministry leaders to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
  • Act as a central point of contact for ministries regarding volunteer onboarding and operational inquiries.
  • Generate regular reports on volunteer onboarding progress and compliance status.
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the onboarding process.
