About the position

The VP, Group Account Director for Theatre is a leadership role responsible for driving strategic initiatives and managing high-level client relationships within the theatre division. This position requires a visionary leader to develop and implement innovative advertising strategies that resonate with audiences and enhance brand visibility in the theatrical landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the account team to deliver exceptional client service and meet strategic goals.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive advertising strategies for theatre clients to drive engagement and ticket sales.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Oversee the execution of campaigns, ensuring alignment with client objectives and brand messaging.
  • Analyze market trends and audience data to inform strategic decisions and campaign effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create integrated marketing solutions, including digital media and omnichannel campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in account management, preferably within the theatre or entertainment industry.
  • Proven track record of developing successful advertising strategies and managing high-profile client accounts.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Experience with digital media and omnichannel campaigns is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.

  • Experience in the theatre or entertainment industry is preferred.
