About the position

As a Vice President, Ag/Commercial Loan Officer, you will play a crucial role in evaluating loan applications and documentation to confirm the creditworthiness of applicants. This position requires you to improve loan applications by informing applicants of additional requirements and to reject loans by clearly explaining any deficiencies to the applicants. You will also be responsible for approving loans by issuing checks or forwarding applications to the loan committee, as well as assisting customers by answering their questions. Responsibilities

• Evaluate loan applications and documentation to confirm creditworthiness.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as an Ag or Commercial Loan Officer.
• Demonstrated leadership aspirations and qualities.
• Strong credit experience and a business development mindset.

• Ability to expand loans and client relationships and cross-sell bank products.
• Familiarity with sales, commercial loan processing, and closing processes.
• Working knowledge of the agricultural industry.
