About the position

The VP of Asset Management at SitusAMC is responsible for the overall management of a client's portfolio post-acquisition, serving as the primary contact for portfolio management, servicing oversight, and asset strategy. This role involves overseeing multiple servicers and strategic initiatives across various asset classes, ensuring client objectives are met through effective collaboration and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Manage a client's portfolio post-acquisition as the primary point of contact.
• Oversee multiple servicers, trusts, and strategic portfolio initiatives simultaneously.
• Coordinate servicing transfers and operational reviews.
• Conduct remittance and data reconciliation.
• Render workout decisions and identify servicing performance irregularities.
• Drive enhanced performance by the client's servicer.
• Collaborate with diligence and collateral services teams to define asset-level strategies.
• Develop portfolio campaign strategies and customized reporting.
• Ensure quality and performance of the Asset Management Team.

Requirements

• College degree or training in finance/mortgage banking preferred.
• Minimum of 8+ years of industry experience, with at least 2+ years in an AVP level role or equivalent.
• Experience in mortgage/secondary market preferred.
• Commercial real estate asset management experience is required.
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Strong analytical ability and strategic thinking.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
