About the position

The Lead Asset Manager at SitusAMC is responsible for the overall management of a client's portfolio, acting as the primary point of contact for portfolio management, servicing oversight, and asset strategy. This role involves overseeing multiple servicers and strategic initiatives, ensuring client objectives are met through effective collaboration and performance reporting. The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to manage complex data and client relationships effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a client's portfolio post-acquisition, serving as the primary contact for all portfolio management activities.
  • Oversee multiple servicers, trusts, and strategic portfolio initiatives across various asset classes.
  • Coordinate servicing transfers, operational reviews, and remittance reconciliations.
  • Identify servicing performance irregularities and drive enhancements in servicer performance.
  • Collaborate with diligence and collateral services teams to define asset-level strategies post-settlement.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, reviewing loan documentation and compliance with guidelines.
  • Develop portfolio campaign strategies and customized reporting for clients.
  • Ensure quality and performance of the Asset Management Team through effective leadership.

Requirements

  • College degree or training in finance/mortgage banking preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of industry experience, with at least 2 years in an AVP level role or equivalent.
  • Experience in commercial real estate asset management is required.
  • Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong analytical ability and strategic thinking skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multitask.

Nice-to-haves

  • Mortgage/secondary market experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with staff and clients.
