About the position

The Audit Manager is an intermediate level role responsible for performing moderately complex audits and assessments of Citi's risk and control environments. The primary objective is to ensure compliance with audit standards and regulations while collaborating with business leaders to address emerging issues. This position requires in-depth subject matter expertise and effective management of audit activities across various business functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and deliver audit reports in a timely manner according to Internal Audit and Regulatory standards.
• Review and approve the Business Monitoring Quarterly summary and serve as lead reviewer for all reviews.
• Collaborate with teams across the business to assess the impact on the overall control environment and audit approach.
• Manage audit activities for a component of a product line, function, or legal entity at the regional or country level.
• Leverage expertise to manage a team effectively.
• Advise the business on change initiatives while promoting integrated auditing concepts and technology adoption.
• Recommend interventions for issues and propose solutions for risk and control problems, partnering with Directors and Managing Directors to address broader corporate issues.
• Apply in-depth understanding of Internal Audit standards, policies, and regulations to specific product or function areas.

Requirements

• 6-10 years of relevant experience in audit or related fields.
• Certifications such as CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA or similar are preferred.
• Effective comprehension of the business side of the audit function and subject matter expertise regarding technology application.
• Strong verbal, written, and negotiation skills.
• Effective project management skills.
• Strong influencing and relationship management skills.
• Ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment.
