About the position

As the VP of Brand and Creative at Carta, you will lead the creative strategy and visual identity of the company, aiming to elevate the brand and engage the target audience. This role involves overseeing a talented team and developing a comprehensive brand vision that aligns with business goals, while also ensuring consistency across all marketing channels. You will collaborate with various teams to create high-quality content and analyze the impact of creative campaigns to maximize ROI.

Responsibilities

  • Lead creative strategy and visual identity to elevate the brand.
  • Support and optimize creative and brand talent with an internal agency approach.
  • Drive the development of compelling brand, design, and content that enhances the value proposition of Carta.
  • Develop a comprehensive brand and creative vision that aligns with business goals and drives brand awareness.
  • Mentor and grow a talented team of designers, artists, copywriters, and marketers, fostering a culture of creativity.
  • Establish and maintain a strong brand identity across all marketing channels.
  • Oversee the creation of engaging platform content and design that resonates with target audiences.
  • Collaborate with product and UX teams to ensure optimal design and creative elements across platforms.
  • Stay updated with customer insights and industry trends to inform creative direction.
  • Analyze the impact of creative campaigns using data and analytics to maximize ROI.
  • Develop innovative marketing plans for various products and audiences.

Requirements

  • Experience leading diverse creative teams including designers, copywriters, and marketers.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and understanding of branding principles.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
  • Ability to manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
