About the position

The Vice President of Business Development at Stored Value Solutions (SVS) is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new upsell opportunities with existing clients while also building a pipeline of prospects. This role focuses on leveraging stored value solutions within clients' rewards and loyalty programs, primarily targeting enterprise-level clients. The VP will execute sales strategies, manage client relationships, and ensure a smooth transition of newly acquired business to implementation teams, all while aligning with the organization's long-term vision.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and secure new upsell opportunities with existing clients.
  • Develop a pipeline of opportunities with key prospects.
  • Represent the full portfolio of SVS digital service solutions, focusing on stored value as rewards.
  • Execute sales strategies and demonstrate negotiation and relationship-building competencies.
  • Create, maintain, and manage a targeted pipeline to meet annual revenue targets.
  • Understand client needs and develop executive-level relationships.
  • Ensure smooth transition of newly acquired business to implementation resources.
  • Navigate complex sales processes including market development, client relationship building, and proposal creation.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients seeking prepaid product solutions.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Seven plus years of direct/outside sales and/or account management experience in a competitive environment.
  • Bachelor's degree desired.
  • Strong listening skills and a sense of urgency.
  • High energy, persistence, and exemplary professional standards.
  • Creativeness, flexibility, and responsiveness.
  • Persuasiveness and self-starter mentality.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal cross-functional resources.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with sales force automation tools like Sales Force.com.
